It's Official: War on Terror Is the Most Successful Military Campaign In US History

Before President George W. Bush leaves office it's only fitting to give credit to where credit it due. Although you would not know this from the anti-Bush media or democrats, the US military has waged the most successful military campaign in American history these past 8 years.
The War on Terror has been an amazing success not only in what has been accomplished but in what it has cost in lives. Two brutal regimes were obliterated, Al-Qaeda was decimated, fledgling democracies were established. But, most importantly, the US was able to do this while sacrificing the fewest number of soldiers monthly than in any other military campaign in US history. In fact, the US today is losing fewer soldiers each month in Iraq and Afghanistan combined than the average number of soldiers lost monthly during the Clinton years (~35 to 78).

And there was a cease-fire, which was supposed to stay for six months. And after the fourth month, the Israeli army started to strike Gaza, including, of course, assassination of people in the West Bank. And we've been warning that such attacks will provoke definitely a reaction.
So, in reality, I think Ehud Barak, the defense minister of Israel, orchestrated and planned this situation. He kept attacking Gaza till he got a reaction, and then he claimed that he's attacking Gaza because he had a reaction. So, the Israeli side is the one that in reality broke the truce."

"I don't know what all that experience got her, because I have enough experience to know that if you have a National Intelligence Estimate and the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee says, 'You should read this, this is why I'm voting against the war,' that you should probably read it. I don't know how much experience you need for that."
Obama is correct that Clinton failed to read the 90-page NIE report before voting to authorize the use of U.S. military force in Iraq in October 2002. But if you watched that clip, you likely would think that Rockefeller read the NIE, then, as a consequence, voted against the war. Wrong. The West Virginia Democrat read the NIE, then voted for the war.

Your infantry Unit is outnumbered 8 to 1, and the enemy fire is so intense, from 100 or 200 yards away, that your own Infantry Commander has ordered the medevac helicopters to stop coming in.
You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns, and you know you'r enot getting out. Your family is 1/2 way around the world, 12,000 miles away,and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day.
Then, over the machine gun noise, you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter,and you look up to see a Huey, but it doesn't seem real, because no medevac markings are on it.
Ed 'Too Tall' Freeman is coming for you. He's not a medevac, so it's not his job, but he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire, after the medevac's were ordered not to come.
He's coming anyway.
And he drops it in, and sits there in the machine gun fire, they load 2 or 3 of you on board, as they drop off much needed water and ammunition. Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire, to the Doctors and Nurses.
And, he kept coming back......13 more times..... and took about 30 of you and your buddies out, who would never have gotten out.
Medal of Honor Recipient Ed Freeman died Wednesday Sept.3, 2008 at the age of 80, in Boise, Idaho.

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has obtained newly declassified information regarding Osama bin Laden. The State Department had previously redacted this information on documents released to Judicial Watch in August 2005 prompting Judicial Watch's appeal to the Department of State Appeals Review Panel on October 13, 2005. The new information was released by the State Department on August 5, 2008.
According to a document entitled, "Terrorism/Usama bin Ladin: Who's Chasing Whom?" dated July 18, 2006, the Clinton administration was aware of a bin Laden suicide car bombing threat in London: "[redacted] . . . indicated bin Ladin planned to sponsor suicide car bombings against US interests in the UK, in part to punish London for 'submitting' to US pressure to bar his entry into the UK." The information about the terrorist threats to London had previously been redacted.
